• Reporting to : Reports to the Tech Lead or Deputy Tech Leader of the Azure Data & AI Practice.

Position objective

The Microsoft Cloud Architect within the Azure Data & AI Practice is responsible for the design and supervision of data architectures in cloud environments. This position encompasses full project lifecycle management Data & AIfrom technical design to implementation and operation, with a focus on the following technologies DataOps, Big Dataand IA.

Main responsibilities

• Architectural design : develop data architectures based on Microsoft Azurewhile taking into account technical, security and budgetary constraints. Using frameworks CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) and WAP (Well Architect Framework) to guarantee the robustness of our solutions.
• Assessment and Strategic Consulting helping customers define their roadmap Data & AI ensuring that the proposed solutions are aligned with their business objectives. Use tools such as MAP (Microsoft Assessment and Planning) to plan migrations.
• Implementation supervision Supervise the implementation of solutions, ensuring scalability, security and performance. Manage process automation ETL/LET and DataOps.

Environments and Technologies

• Databases and Big Data Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Microsoft Fabric 
• Analysis and Visualization : Power BI.
• Data Governance and AI Microsoft Purview, Microsoft AI, Azure AI.
• Languages and tools Scala, Python, SQL/NoSQL.

Skills required

• Techniques :
  • Expertise in data architecture design, including DataOps, ETL/LETand automation of data pipelines.
  • Mastering environments Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analyticsand Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Skills in Big Data with Hadoop, Hiveand Spark.
  • Good command of programming languages Scala and Pythonand databases SQL/NoSQL.
  • Experience in implementing artificial intelligence solutions with Azure AI and Microsoft AI.
• Certifications : Microsoft Azure certifications specializing in data and artificial intelligence (e.g. : Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate) are strongly recommended.
• Languages : Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Training : BAC+5 degree, engineer or university equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or relevant technical field.
• Experience : Minimum 5 years' experience in designing and implementing data and artificial intelligence solutions on Microsoft Azure.
