• Reporting to : Reports to the Tech Lead or Cloud Architect within the Azure Infrastructure Practice.

Position objective

The Microsoft Cloud Engineer in the Azure Infrastructure Practice is responsible for implementing, managing and optimizing Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructures for customers. He/she is involved in the entire project lifecycle, from technical design to operation, while ensuring service continuity and the evolution of cloud environments.

Main responsibilities

• BUILD Design, configure and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure following best practices.
• RUN Day-to-day infrastructure management, including monitoring, maintenance and updates.
• MCO (Maintenance in Operational Condition) guarantee the stability, performance and availability of customers' cloud environments.
• MAP Toolkit (Microsoft Assessment and Planning) Use assessment tools to diagnose, plan and migrate existing environments to Azure.
• NetOps Manage network operations in a hybrid or public cloud environment, ensuring connectivity, security and performance.

Environments and Technologies

• Systems and Servers Windows Server on Azure, SQL Server on Azure, Linux on Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Virtualization and Cloud Management Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Stack, Azure Arc.
• Automation and Development Powershell, Terraform, Bicep, Visual Studio.
• Microsoft tools Azure Open AI, MAP Toolkit.

Skills required

• Techniques :
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments on Azure.
  • Expertise in virtualization and server management (Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Stack, etc.).
  • Experience in automation and scripting (Powershell, Terraform, Bicep).
  • Good knowledge of assessment and planning tools (MAP Toolkit).
  • Ability to manage network operations in cloud environments (NetOps).
  • Knowledge of AI technologies on Azure (Azure Open AI).
• Certifications : Microsoft Azure certifications required (e.g. : Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expertor equivalent).
• Languages : Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Training : BAC+5 degree, engineer or university equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or relevant technical field.
• Experience : Minimum 3 years' experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructures, preferably on Azure.

Required qualities

• Ability to work as part of a team in an agile environment.
• Strong customer focus and ability to meet complex technical challenges.
• Autonomy in managing infrastructure and deployment tools.
