• Reporting to : Reports to the Tech Lead or Deputy Tech Leader of the Digital Innovation and Applications Practice.

Position objective

The Microsoft Cloud Architect in the Digital Innovation and Applications Practice is responsible for designing, implementing and supervising innovative cloud solutions. Taking into account technical, budgetary and security constraints, he/she proposes architectures adapted to customers' needs, while ensuring that technologies are properly integrated into their existing environments.

Main responsibilities

• Architectural design Building framework-based cloud architectures CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) and WAP (Well Architect Framework)while guaranteeing the security, scalability and compliance of the proposed solutions.
• Assessment and Strategic Consulting Advise customers on the definition of their cloud roadmap and ensure alignment with their business objectives, by using the MAP (Microsoft Assessment and Planning) to diagnose current environments and plan migrations.
• Implementation supervision Supervise the deployment of solutions and ensure that performance, security and operational efficiency are maintained. Use approaches CI/CD & IaC (Infrastructure as Code) to automate and optimize application deployment.

• Application Services Azure Functions, Azure Spring Apps, Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Red Hat OpenShift.
• Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructures Azure VMware Solution, Oracle Real Application Clusters, Nutanix Clusters on Azure, SAP on Azure, AIX on Azure.
• Management tools and DevOps GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Powershell, Azure CLI.

Skills required

• Techniques :
  • Mastery of CAF, WAP, MAP for cloud architecture design.
  • Expertise in environments Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure App Serviceand Azure Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Infrastructure automation skills with Terraform, ARM, Bicep and scripting via Powershell and Azure CLI.
  • Experience in integrating complex infrastructures using technologies such as Azure VMware Solution, Nutanix Clusters on Azure, SAP on Azureand AIX on Azure.
• Certifications : Microsoft Azure certifications advanced level (e.g. : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions) are required.
• Languages : Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Training : BAC+5 degree, engineer or university equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or relevant technical field.
• Experience : Minimum 5 years' experience in the design and implementation of complex cloud solutions, with a focus on technologies Microsoft Azure.
